JBoss EAP 6 Beta Video – JON Integration

In the following video, we will import a JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6 Beta server into JBoss Operations Network 3.0.1 and show that JBoss EAP 6 components can now be configured via JON.

Integration Steps

1. Download and extract the technical preview plugin pack.
2. Copy the AS7 plugin to the JON ‘plugins’ directory.
3. Start the JON server.
   ./bin/rhq-server.sh start
4. Wait for JON to deploy the plugin.
5. Start the agent.
   ./bin/rhq-agent.sh
6. Start the JBoss EAP 6 Beta server.
7. Log in (rhqadmin / rhqadmin).
8. Import the JBoss EAP 6 Beta server (Inventory / Discovery Queue).
9. Done.
